Longchamps Electric was recently involved with the installation of an uninterruptable power system (UPS) replacement at the Comcast facility in Chelmsford, MA. This project consisted of building a new electric room and the installation of a new, 250KW UPS that backs up the Head End Data Center which serves much of Comcast's services throughout the Northeast. This was a challenging task as there was no interruptions to the existing infrastructure feeding this end user.
