From its inception over 30 years ago, Robert O. Longchamps, founder, president
and Master Electrician, has skillfully overseen the operations of his company.
Today, he still plays a daily role in guiding his successful
company forward, responding to the electrical needs of its diverse and ever growing
customer base.Over the years, as the industry changed and customer requirements increased, Longchamps kept pace with the times by growing its staff and equipping them with the appropriate resources, such as ongoing training and certifications. To better meet the growing needs of its customers, Longchamps created a new division specifically to meet the growing low voltage needs of their customers, such as fire, security, voice, data and networking systems. This division also offers complete paging systems and value added services such as complete modular furniture installation with voice, data, and electrical cabling.
Longchamps Network and Communication division is positioned to provide its customers with the best solutions to their needs today and into the future. Longchamps carries certifications with numerous manufacturers and our technicians receive regular training in the latest installation practices and hardware. We staff a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD)
and are a member of the Building Industry Consultant Services International (BICSI).
Today, Longchamps is one of the largest, most well-respected electrical and communications system contractors in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. We are a company of seasoned veterans with cutting-edge know-how. Our team includes
over 120 electrical technicians, 30 mobile electrical service technicians, and 10 low voltage communication technicians.
